Portrait of Noor Ashraf

Noor Ashraf

Founding nail architect · 14 years at the lamp

I started sweeping floors in a Bucktown shop at seventeen, got licensed the week I turned nineteen, and spent the next decade teaching gel architecture for two major brands. Lacquer Lane is my answer to rushed mall sets: we map length and shape with you before the light ever turns on.

Favorite guest moment: first-time clients who say their nails have never grown out clean. I still take a few new guest appointments myself every month.

Portrait of Camille Varga

Camille Varga

Co founder · retail and guest care · 11 years in beauty buying

I managed floors and education for a national beauty retailer before I went indie. The lobby wall is my lane: I only stock bottles I have worn through a full grow out myself. If a label changes formula, it comes off the shelf.

Catch me Tuesday mornings restocking: I love hearing what is working on your cuticles at home so we can tweak your carry out ritual.
